As we hustle our way through, in January 2019, we managed to establish Bateriku.com’s Contact Centre in the heart of Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam. Our Contact Centre, today is the epicenter of Bateriku.com’s traffic redistribution.

A centralized source for orders received from multiple touchpoints including hotline, whatsapp and text messages, the Contact Centre also redistribute orders to the closest stock location for orders received from App, Web, Chat and even Bateriku.com Social Media channels.


Manning the floor are our professionally trained Customer Happiness Agents who are trained in providing Awesome Customer Experience, every time, all the time. We believe in building sustainable relationship with all of our stakeholders, both internal and external stakeholders.

From internal stakeholders including our BHero, BPreneur and BBuddy network, the Contact Centre is responsible in creating an agile communication channel to enable an inclusive ecosystem that is capable to serve customers needs, anytime and everytime.

Harnessing the advancement of technology, the Contact Centre monitors and controls on-the-ground job traffic to ensure customers are served within 30 to 45 minutes. When Bateriku.com first started back in 2014, we manage to disrupt the on-demand car battery replacement services by standardizing the battery delivery prices regardless of the delivery time.

Back then, a minimum of RM50.00 is charged by battery service providers to car owners when an order is made from 9.00 pm onwards. The charge is not inclusive of battery price. Imagine the experience for a lady when she becomes a stranded user at night time in the middle of nowhere.

 

That’s why we came up with the model of free car battery delivery, free checking and free installation to assist stranded car owners regardless of their breakdown time. Car owners will only need to pay for the price of a battery every time they need any of our services.

That is why continuous improvement is part and parcel in every hustle that we do. From improving our business process flows to enhancing our multiple customer touchpoints and improving our products and services, we take pride in going above and beyond to assist our customers every time, all the time.

 

The business model of free delivery, free checking and free installation aims to reduce the burden of customers while at the same time instil trust towards our services. Our on the ground technicians – BHero’s are supervised and trained by our in-house Akademi Bateriku.

 

As one of the pioneers that provides end-to-end car battery replacement that is easily accessible across Malaysia, our Pitstop locations are strategically placed in city centres and residential areas to maintain high standard of service delivery by ensuring our BHero’s speedy delivery and execute our service standards flawlessly.

 

Upon arrival of 30 minutes from receiving an order distributed by our Contact Centre, our BHeros’ are trained to analyse the condition of your vehicle using specialised battery inspection equipment’s to check the health and condition of your vehicle’s battery.

 

The readings of your car battery’s CCA (Cold cranking amps) and voltage will be inspected and if the reading is below par, our BHero will then proceed to check your vehicle’s alternator for any electricity current leakage. These processes are essential in determining the root cause of the car breakdown.

 

From thereon, only if the breakdown is caused by the vehicle’s battery will our BHero proceed in making the battery installation. If the breakdown is not caused by battery issues, our BHero is not allowed to make the installation but instead they are required to advice the customer to link up with our BBuddy partners (Bengkel) for further checking and repair works.

 

For all the services mentioned, an owner is not required to pay any hidden charges or fees, as we only charge for the price of the battery. If it is not a battery issue that causes the breakdown, we will not take a single cent from a customer.

 

The free delivery, free checking and free installation services are among the value-add services that we provide to our customers and Alhamdulillah we have managed not only to serve about 1.3 Million satisfied customers nationwide.

 

And with the nationwide after sales support and warranty coverage through our close to 200 location touchpoints. With the warranty coverage provided, all of our ecosystem network is provided replacement or floating batteries to be installed at a customer’s vehicle while we take back the under warranty battery back for further inspection and services.

As the Year 2021 draws to a close, at Bateriku.com we are privilege to inform all of our customers that as of today, we have managed to operate 100 Pitstop Outlets nationwide. This amazing feat would not have been possible without your continuous support and trust towards our services.

Just to recap, when we first started back in 2014 our objective was to provide services that would benefit stranded car owners. We know from experience that breakdowns caused by battery issues are definitely a pain any car owner regardless of their age, gender or race should avoid avoid at all costs!

 

Cases such as stranded in the middle of nowhere, being bullied into taking unwanted towing services and most recently cars stranded due to floods have inspired us to keep on improving our services by increasing our service touchpoints.

 

Bateriku Pitstop is a model that we came up concurrently with the revolution of our business strategy: customer nearest to stock and BHero nearest to customer. It is a business model that is inspired by the gig or sharing economy concept provided by the GRAB and Food Panda’s of the world.

 

In order to fulfil a stranded customer’s demand, we have increased our efforts in increasing our stock location through the opening of Bateriku Pitstops which are operated either internally by our A-Team or through our BPreneur program.

 

Within each key economic regions of Klang Valley, Southern, Northern and the East Coast, a Bateriku branch is firstly set up and operated. Here, A-Teams will firstly be recruited to run the day-to-day operations while at the same time identifying potential hotspots for future BPreneurs.

 

Concurrently, through our collaboration with franchisor and government agencies, our Network Development team will then recruit potential and capable BPreneurs to fill in the potential hotspots suggested by our local A-Team members.

 

Within the Klang Valley area, the setting up of Bateriku Pitstops are dominated by our internally developed while for the outside of Klang Valley areas, our Pitstop model is open to aspiring entrepreneurs who wants to become a part of the our ecosystem through the BPreneur program.

 

The first BPreneur outlet was opened back in 2018 in Banting and Alhamdulillah it is still operating up until today. In fact, the owner has just recently decided to expand together with his son. Alhamdulillah, we are proud to have capable and trustworthy BPreneurs with us nationwide.

 

Every Pitstop operator, regardless if it is through our internal team or BPreneur are required to adhere to our strict process flows including managing of stocks available, managing operations through our internally developed system and apps as well as providing localized marketing effort to increase awareness of our presence within the surrounding vicinity.

 

In addition, each Pitstop operator is required to attend the nationwide warranty principle of buy anywhere, support everywhere which means that they will need to attend to the customer regardless of the origin of the products purchased.

 

To illustrate, a customer may purchase a battery from a Pitstop in Perling, Johor but ends up having a breakdown in Jitra, Kedah while still under the warranty period. Upon the customers requests through our multiple touch points, the nearest Pitstop in Jitra to the said customer will then be assigned through our Command Centre to attend to the customer to provides a seamless experience as though the purchase was made back in Pitstop Perling.
