WARRANTY

After sales purchase terms & conditions

Any assistance after the purchase of Bateriku.com products is subject to the terms & the following conditions: -

Warranty claim is only applicable based on warranty expiry date or milage (Whichever comes first)

1) Reach out to Bateriku.com by contacting our Call Service Center at 0111-600 6008 for warranty services in the event of vehicle malfunction or in need of professional assistance.

2) Post-Purchase Assistance does not necessarily require a technician visit to customer's location.

3) Any service that requires the presence of a technician to the customer's location, will be charged with a fee of RM30.00 in advance prior to dispatching.

4) Bateriku.com reserves the right not to be present at the location if the customer refuses to pay RM30.00 in advance.

5) Bateriku.com reserves the right to charge RM 30.00 for the second and subsequent visits.

6) A service charge of RM50.00 will be billed to the customer who would like to get our service after the cancellation of the product warranty and service.

7) Bateriku.com will only be responsible for the warranty of the batteries sold by Bateriku.com.

8) Bateriku.com will not be responsible for any problems that arise resulting from the customer's agreement to install the battery with higher or lower specifications for their vehicle. Professional recommendation will always be provided prior to the installation for customer's best consideration.

9) Every official sale from Bateriku.com will be recorded into our system. If the customer proceed on choosing a battery that does not follow the vehicle's production specifications, the system will record the agreement and will be used as a reference for any post-purchase assistance report.

10) If it is found that there's a "system reset" activity before purchasing a battery, Bateriku.com will not be held responsible of any potential malfunction. Furthermore, any cost for 'system reset' will be borne by the customer itself.

11) We advise customers to bring their vehicles ONLY to the “Service Center ” or workshop recommended by Bateriku.com.

12) Bateriku.com reserves the right to cancel the product and service warranty to customer's who refuse to repair any of their vehicle malfunction as informed by our customer service which will affect the purchased battery.

13) Hours of operation of after-sales assistance services are from 10.00AM to 10.00PM daily.

14) All customers must show a digital receipt or proof of valid purchase from Bateriku.com to be eligible for a warranty claim service.

15) If the customer require assistance within 7 days after the date of purchase, Bateriku.com will be able to assist the customer with no charge to their location.

Before purchase terms & conditions

RM30 service charge will be charged before sending a technician if :-

1) The battery is empty or wiring problems, or forgot to turn off the lights, or the vehicle is not turned on within 7 days, or improper use of electrical accessories, or battery misuse or problems not related to battery manufacturing.

2) The Battery was found to be ‘Flat’ (but not damaged) and the Battery was ‘Flat’ due to the negligence of the user. During the first service visit, our technicians will perform a “(JUMPSTART)” process to recharge the battery for 45 min.

3) If it fails to make the jumpstart process, BATERIKU.COM will supply a temporary battery to the customer. The customer's original battery will be taken home for the purpose of detailed inspection if it is found that the customer's original battery is still in good condition according to the standards and standards set by the manufacturer, the battery will be sent back to the customer.

4) After 30 days from the date of notification if the customer has no feedback, bateriku.com reserves the right to dispose of the battery.

After purchase terms & conditions

1) If the service assistance claim has a valid justification. This means that the customer's battery is indeed damaged. The reported battery will be taken back by Bateriku.com.

2) Customers will then be provided with a floating battery.

3) Refunds will be made after an inspection by Bateriku.com in order to confirm that the battery is indeed damaged.

4) The intended inspection will require 14 working days.

5) Refunds will be made in accordance with the installation of new batteries.

6) For customers who receive a new battery, the post -purchase assistance guarantee is based on the original date of purchase.

7) The disclaimer clause for any claim to obtain a new battery from the manufacturer is not valid at all and must be made to Bateriku.com only. This claim is not subject to "Freelance" Bateriku.com.

8) Warranty will be void if battery spec is downgraded from the vehicle manufacturing specifications.

9) Warranty will be void if there is physical damage on the batteries.

Condition of warranty

1. For JIS & DIN battery types, warranty terms and conditions are as follows:

a) Passenger (Petrol only) Vehicles : 25,000KM or 18 months (whichever comes first)

b) Commercial/e-Hailing Vehicles (Diesel and/or petrol) : 20,000KM or 6 months (whichever comes first)

2. For AGM battery types, warranty terms and conditions are as follows:

a) Passenger (Petrol only) Vehicles: 40,000KM or 20 months (whichever comes first)

b) Commercial/e-Hailing Vehicles (Diesel and/or petrol): 30,000KM or 12 months (whichever comes first)

3. For EFB battery types, warranty terms and conditions are as follows:

a) Passenger (Petrol only) Vehicles: 30,000KM or 12 months (Whichever comes first)

b) Commercial/e-Hailing Vehicles (Diesel and/or petrol) : 30,000 or 6 months (whichever comes first)

4. The warranty is void:

a) If the marking or serial number of the battery has been removed, erased or tampered with

b) If the damage is caused by the malfunctioning of the vehicle's charging and electrical system, accident, collision, misuse, mishandling, improper maintenance, explosion, acts of God such as fire, flood and etc

c) If the battery is installed, modified or tampered with any manner

d) If details in the warranty card are incomplete, illegible or the warranty card is torn, damanged, altered, etc

5. The warranty excludes:

a) Consumables (e.g battery water)

b) Products offered as promotions or complimentary gift or goodwill claim

c) Battery salvageable by recharging

6. This warranty is only valid in Malaysia

a) Cost of recharging

b) Labour to remove and replace battery

c) Consequential losses

Nationwide Warranty Asisst ("NWA") by Bateriku.com

NBA is a nationwide battery assist program offered to all car owners that has purchased batteries from any Battery Shops/Workshops/Merchants that have registered under the NBA program.

NBA is not a warranty program but we provide roadside assistance to get your vehicle back on the road.

Benefit : Services under NWA

1. Jumpstart

Our technicians will be deployed to jumpstart your car on-site using Bateriku.com's Standard Operating Procedures.

2. Temporary battery replacement ("Floating")

In the event that your car fails to start, we will offer floating battery to get you back on the road. The floating battery can be purchased at a minimum cost.

3. Referral

Should both attempt of jumpstart and temporary battery replacement fails, we will, through our nationwide ecosystem, provide Referral to Bateriku.com's Trust Roadside Asisst Partners.

Terms & Condition

1. Bateriku.com acts as the sub-contractor for the Battery Shop/Workshop/Merchant.<br>

2. The assistance provided by Bateriku.com is intended to get your car back on the road, enabling you to drive to the place where your battery was purchased (Battery Shop/Workshop/Merchant).

3. Upon contacting Bateriku.com, our Contact Centre will perform an online diagnostic of your vehicles condition.

4. Based on the findings, we will then deploy our Battery Technician to your car location.

5. A minimum of RM 30.00 charge shall be agreed upon deployment of our Battery Technician.

6. Our Battery Technician will then perform vehicle inspection and diagnostic to find the root cause of your vehicle.

7 If it is a battery problem, our Battery Technician will then perform jump-start procedures using Bateriku.com’s Standard Operating Procedures.

8. If the jump-start procedure is unsuccessful, we will then recommend you to purchase a temporary battery replacement (“floating”) for you to get back on the road.

9. Once your vehicle issue is rectified, the floating battery purchased from Bateriku.com can be resold back to any of Bateriku.com’s nationwide outlet.


Warranty T&C for disposal battery


Please note that if we are unable to reach you within 30 days, the battery will be returned to our headquarters for disposal. In the meantime, you may continue using the temporary battery that was provided by our technician when the warranty claim was first initiated.
